For Sail on the Island
Thomas Gillmer designed 1969 Allied Seawind Ketch. 30.5' on deck, 9.4' beam, 4.3' draft. 12,080 # displacement, 4,200# ballast, 30 gals fuel and 40 gals water. 20 hp diesel auxiliary, full set of working sails, drifter, mizzen stay sail, fore stay sail, - all in excellent condition.
Head, galley, pressure water (cold), propane stove, depth finder, VHF.
This is a full keel with attached rudder, heavy cruising boat with a pedigree. A sister ship was the first production fiberglass boat to sail around the world. But she is still spry enough to do well in club racing.
Too much "stuff" forces sail. Can be seen at the River Reach docks.
Phone the owner, Bill, at (954) 522-6943
